Hot Air Balloon Festival

After flying back to Utah I traveled to Provo to spend the night with my friend Stacey. Stacey and I met the same summer I met Christopher, she has become one of my best friends. We spent the night eating good food and talking. The next morning we went to the hot air balloon festival that is held near BYU.



It was fun to watch nearly two dozen large hot air balloons fill up and fly into the sky. This year the popular balloon was the Darth Vader balloon which was 86 feet high and 69 feet wide, weighing a whopping 640 pounds.



Another cool balloon was the Coke bottle balloon, it was huge!



So, if you are in the Provo area on the 4th of July, the balloons will be launching again at 6:30 am.
